Sleep to Dream

We've found that some sleep cues are easier to read than others.

Sometimes parents fall asleep in the wrong places and wrong times, too.

But finally this month, Adora has moved into her own crib in her own room... and is sleeping through the night.

Bath time became more fun as we moved into warmer weather. Adora fits well in our bathroom sink.
Mothers' day inspired Adora's first picnic at Speedway Meadow in Golden Gate Park.

Life is a Highway!
Happily surpassing 14 pounds.

Mendocino, April 12-14

At the start of Alissa's spring break, we took Adora on a family trip to Mendocino for a little R & R.

We bundled her up and took her into Van Damme State Park for her first hiking experience, and she was all eyes...

...then a little dinner at the Mendocino Hotel downtown...

...and of course a bit of time on the beach. The fog had rolled in for this photo, but we enjoyed great weather for most of our time there, and Adora seemed to love the ocean air (although not the stiff wind we encountered a few times).
